Next, we show you delicacies and other temptations of monasteries in an oasis of peace in the heart of Barcelona. Here’s where you are introduced to the traditional chocolate surprise of mindful eating.

Be Chocolat

Starting with the basics to explain where it all starts, we’ll make a stop at Be Chocolat. This is a place where natural chocolates of the day are made in workshops before the customer’s eyes.

We also offer an alternative of savouring the passage of time. Come with us to a hotel with history in the Gothic quarter and experience a winery.

2. Art Noveau Chocolate Tour

Barcelona is the great capital of Art Nouveau. Its streets, buildings, and parks evoke the fantasy of some great geniuses – Antoni Gaudí, Lluís Domènech, Puig i Cadafalch, among others. These famous architects imbued our city with originality and life. Their legacy is their fascinating art which we can show you today.

Walk with us through the colourful streets to learn about the history of chocolate. Additionally, we’ll also encourage you to taste the best wonders that our master chocolatiers put at your disposal.

Itinerary

Cacao Sampaka

We’ll start our journey at the very roots – the origins and ethical sourcing of cacao, and manufacturing of chocolate products. You’ll explore chocolate and its relationship with design through delicious chocolate tasting.

Casa Amatller

Next, experts from Casa Amatller will explain the relationship between this modernist jewel and chocolate. You’ll hear more hidden facts about the history of Barcelona. Finally, you’ll be offered to taste a typical product of the house – bonbon or catania.

Chocolat Factory

Our last stop will be the place where design meets chocolate – Chocolat Factory. We will end this amazing tour by explaining the secrets behind the brand. At last, you will be able to savour several samples of some of their special chocolates. Optionally, you can also pair them with wine.

Loved this experience! Nuria gave us a great tour with lots of information about chocolate and showed us some beautiful (and delicious) chocolate shops in Paris Saint-Germain-des-Prés. It’s a good combination for those who want to learn something about this fascinating and popular product, and having the chance to try the best in Paris, too. I highly recommend it.
